How to Prepare Kava

1) Items Needed:

Kava, Fine Mesh Strainer, Water (can also use fruit juice), Large Bowl or Kumete 

2) Using 5 oz Kava bag, pour kava into strainer. Place strainer with Kava into bowl. Pour 1-1.5 gallons of water through strainer. Can add more or less Kava and water depending on personal preference. 

3) Carefully knead kava in strainer into bowl to squeeze out liquid. For best quality, strain kava liquid through a second time. Kava liquid will turn into a creamy, tan color. 

4) Enjoy! 

Can be served with fresh fruit to enhance natural flavor.
